Dr. Marlene Jurman received her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 1987 and then completed a Hospital Based residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Albuquerque VAMC in Albuquerque, NM. She joined the University Eye Center in 1988 and is currently Associate Clinical Professor supervising interns and residents in the Primary Care Service.
Dr Jurman finds great joy in caring for her patients. She has found that teaching clinically allows her to help the optometrists of the future become competent and caring clinicians in the profession that she loves.
